its a rather good product but i feel it needs to be heavier and more stiff needs fixed ends so when working out on the floor they dont pop out or bend

this product is perfect, i was slightly worried that it would damage the walls, but it hasn't!
it is well built and very sturdy!
easy to use too, a little warning is that you need a door frame of atleast 1.5cm otherwise it will fall off.. but i cant find a door in my house that it does not work on...
i can already feel the muscle building up...

I don't often write any reviews but feel I have to for this product.
I've wanted a pull up bar for some time and have read most other reviews for this and many other products which come across quite scary at times. I've used park equipment, trees etc to mimic a pull up bar and still prefer to be training outside when the weather is nice, but during the winter the cold, wet metal can put you off a bit. Having decided to bite the bullet knowing that the product is inexpensive anyway I received the pull up bar and assembled it in minutes.
It fits on all my doors (I live in a standard, modern house) and feels very sturdy. I even use it on my garage back door so I can still train outside when the weather is nice.
I didn't want the item for the extra exercises you can do on it, but tried them out and I'm extremely impressed.
Being a fan of minimal equipment, I wish I hadn't bothered with weights benches etc when I could buy this for a fraction of the price and gain better results in the process.

I bought this to replace my last chin up bar; I've been doing lots of chins recently to help with climbing. The JML bar is superior in that it is slightly wider than the standard pull up bar than just fits between the door frame. The grip juts out from the doorframe which, unlike the Bodymax's bar, allows you to adopt a wider grip without the frame getting in the way. Wider grip = works the lats more.
The way the bar is fitted does not leave any marks which is great, as the Bodymax's bar left black marks from the rubber pads. There is a small piece of metal that you place in the doorframe in order to add security, and maybe this could be lost if you aren't careful, so keep an eye on it!
The bar works well for chins and pull ups, and could do for sit ups - not tried those, but like another reviewer said, would be fairly useless for dips as there is not enough range. The different grips for chins, pull ups and neutral grip pull ups are fairly useful and give you an idea about hand placement. You will have to remove the bar if you want to close the door, unlike the Bodymax's bar, but this isn't really a problem.
A JML product that is actually functional then!

I didn't know of this product at first, there was another pull up bar which I had seen before his one and was about to buy it until I had seen the video that supports this product and after watching the short video clip I was in love and had to buy it.
I would recommend this product to anyone interested in putting on some muscle in a space as comfortable as your home and results are noticed fairly quickly if I am to be honest.
