In the last two weeks that I have owned this umbrella, I have managed to 'field-test' it quite a number of times and I must say it is simply the best umbrella I have owned so far.
It has a very sturdy and solid feel to it and withstands gusts of wind with ease compared to other past folding-umbrellas I have previously owned.
It is noticeably lighter than other umbrellas of the same size & type, probably owing to the fibre glass and aluminium frame. The umbrella's material also has a good quality feel to it and it dries fairly quickly after a heavy drenching.
All in all, very happy with the product and it seems to do its job well.

Really light, but strong emergency umbrella. When is folded doesn't need much space in you bag. During heavy rain covers your head and half of torso.

I havent use the umbrella yet due to the good weather we are having this spring & summer yet. The quality & build looks strong & solid and should do the job extremely well.I will give you a update in the winter when the weather gets very breezy and windy.

A sad day when my 15 year old Fulton Umbrella fell apart, it was a Christmas present from my wife, so I expect that it should last a long time. We were about to go on a short break, in England, so it was needed quickly, looked at other makes of umbrellas, which either seemed to be cheap and nasty or very expensive. Looked at the Fulton range and decided on the Typhoon, ordered it through Amazon, who delivered it well before we were due to go away. Although it is slightly more bulky than my previous model, it does seem to be of stronger construction. Have not encountered any Typhoons to try it in yet but it has coped with moderate winds adequately. A mid range product that seems to be of good build quality, which I hope will last for another 15 years, I dont see why it should not last.
