Product Description
This comfortable, firm foam mattress creates the perfect sleeping
environment for baby. It is very important that your baby's mattress is
kept clean and dry, which is why our Moses basket mattresses have a
sealed waterproof PEVA cover. PEVA is a safe material which does not
include chlorine like PVC. The PEVA cover is waterproof and can be
easily wiped clean with a mild disinfectant. The waterproof cover is
also heat sealed together at the edges preventing moisture and dust from
reaching the fillings, protecting them and helping to prevent allergies
from developing. There are no sewn seams which makes the mattress more
hygenic as dust and dirt is prevented from becoming trapped in the
mattress.
Conforms to British Standards BS 1877 part10:1977, BS 7177: 1996 For Low
Hazard and the Furniture & Fure Regulations 1988.
Note: FSID (Foundation Study of Infant Deaths) do not recommend the use
of 'ventilated' mattresses (with holes) as it is not possible to keep
the inside clean, as dust or vomit can become trapped in the holes.
