 Great idea but might not work with smaller children! August 28, 2010

I bought this item for my son who is 8 months old. We've had to put him in a big front facing car seat now as he's a big boy, very tall and weighs over 22lbs. His head was falling forward in the new car seat as it does not recline so I thought this would help support his head and keep him comfy. It doesn't support his head how I thought it would (his head still falls forward) however it does give more support to his neck when he's sleeping and stops his head from rolling around which worried me incase he hurt his neck. I would recommend this item but don't expect it to keep your childs head up if your car seat doesn't recline as it won't.
Saying that it is very well made and has a fluffy soft side for winter and a cooler fabric side for summer so it doesn't heat your child up which is good and the fact that is has magnets to keep the hugger round your childs neck is really good as this gives more support.

I bought this product to help my son's head from falling foward in the car seat, he is a big boy and has had to go up to a group 123 carseat at 21 months and this does not recline so his head falls completely forward when he's asleep.
I am, however, disappointed in the Yondi as his head STILL rolls forward (even with lots and lots of adjustment) and all this product seems to do is squash his face! The only thing I can say is it does stop his head swinging around as much, so it helps in a small way.
It is really well made and really soft. I love the design and the kids love it as a toy as well, its just a shame it doesn't keep his head from falling foward!
Not sure if I'd recommend it or not as I haven't got another head hugger to compare it with.....

great for summer months, but doesn't fit around baby coats.
Also if your baby is a fussy sleeper, u can't get it around their neck.
