This product has done exactly what I needed. I have a very happy 9 month old who amuses herself for quite sometime in it. I live in an appartement with lots of stair cases everywhere, space is limited so it's perfect the way it folds up and the way I can use it to block off areas. For the price I am extremely happy, and as a bonus it was already put together when I received it so didn't have to do anything except put the last panel in then the cushion and then my little girl and her toys, brilliant!

By far the most virsetile of the playpens we've seen, but baby needs to be happy to be in a seperate space and have to be very proficiant at sitting by him/herself.

bought this for my son when he was 6.5 months, unfortunately, my son learned to stand at this age... so while he was learning to stand, he butt his head alot on the iron bars, but after 2-3 days, he learned that it hurt, so he mastered the art of holding the bars to pull himself up and then jump... a peculiar boy i have.. anyways... there is a version of this with soft sides, would be better to get this one, to avoid your little ones bumping their heads.. however, this white bar version now serves it's purpose in that, i put my son in here and he can play and stay in there safely while i do my household chores... better suited for babies who can control their body and can hold on and stand properly.

To be honest, this was purchased as a playpen for a 7month old puppy. The equivalent pet versions all seem about £20 more expensive but perhaps it's because the flooring is not water proof! ;0) However, it is heavy enough not to be pushed over.
It was easy enough to set up but I use it as a pen sometimes and other times to create a barrier. Unlocking the panels from each other takes practice and a few broken fingernails later, I managed to sort them out. The floor pad washes well but is a little small for the pen. I would have liked the door to swing open a full 180 degrees but the catch is simple to operate with one hand and works in both directions.
All in all good value for money.

Cannot imagine putting our baby into a normal pen, or a travel cot (!) as recommended by some people. We open up the playpen and attach to the walls so he has much more freedom but complete safety. Very pleased with it.
